Evelyn Underhill (1875-1941) British student of mysticism and  religion, author of Mysticism  (1911) and other works.

 

Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) Tormented, brilliant "expressionist" Dutch painter, later a resident of France. He sold only one painting in his lifetime and committed suicide.

 

Henry Vaughan (1622-95) Welsh metaphysical poet and mystic.
