Kathleen Raine (1908- )
British poet and scholar (author of several books on Blake, Swedenborg, and neo-Platonism). Founder of the journal Temenos.

In a letter to David Lavery she speaks of remembering her first meeting with "that wise man Owen Barfield": "I remember him standing with C. S. Lewis in Lewis's room in Magdalen (in Cambridge that was of course) as I braved the scrutiny of these dear and great men.
